Paintless Dent Removal – PDR

In the past small dings and dents were traditionally repaired by the panel beating department, filling and painting. However today, thanks to thinner and higher quality steel and more flexible paints there are alternative repair methods available such as PDR (Paintless Dent Repair). PDR can be applied in situations of panel damage whereby the paint has remained intact, for example HAIL DAMAGE.
Using specially designed hand tools, the PDR technician skillfully and very patiently lever the panel from behind, back into the original shape. Amazing as it is a perfect unblemished paint finish that is retained. Best results are achieved on new and/or late model cars due to maximum flexibility of the paint. Size can vary from pin to dinner plate size dents.

The repair result depends on the severity of the damage but generally varies between 90-100%.

The PDR repairs are free of ‘high spots’ and ‘pick marks’ and our advanced method does not involve hammering the panel. The original rust proofing remains intact as there is no metal to metal contact in the repair process.
